Who we are

Fadmus helps students plan and manage study-abroad journeys. In this notice, “Fadmus”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the Fadmus organization responsible for this website and the services described here. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hello@fadmus.com.

Information we collect

  • Contact details and preferences submitted through our contact and pilot-waitlist forms.
  • Account information such as your name, email address, authentication status and security events.
  • Consultation registration and payment-status records when paid registration becomes available. Payment providers process full payment credentials; Fadmus does not store complete card details.
  • Technical information needed to secure and operate the service, such as request identifiers, timestamps, device or browser information, and limited network logs.

The website does not currently ask you to upload passports, bank statements or financial-sponsorship evidence. Please do not send those documents through a website form or ordinary email.

How we use information

  • Respond to questions and consultation requests.
  • Manage the private-pilot waitlist and send requested pilot updates.
  • Create and protect accounts, prevent abuse, and investigate security incidents.
  • Administer consultation registration, payment verification and attendance.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations.

Depending on the activity, we process information with your consent, to take steps you request before providing a service, to perform a contract, to meet legal obligations, or for legitimate interests such as service security and fraud prevention. You may withdraw consent for future processing at any time.

Service providers and international processing

We use carefully selected providers for hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery and, when enabled, payment processing. These may include Vercel, Supabase and Stripe. Information may therefore be processed outside Nigeria, including in the United States or other countries where a provider operates. We use contractual and technical safeguards appropriate to the service and information involved.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or to professional advisers bound by confidentiality. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

  • Waitlist records are kept until you withdraw or for up to 12 months after the last relevant pilot communication.
  • Contact inquiries are generally kept for up to 24 months after the last interaction.
  • Account data is kept while the account is active and then deleted or de-identified, subject to security, backup and legal-retention requirements.
  • Payment and transaction records may be retained for the period required by tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute laws.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Contact us at hello@fadmus.com to make a request.

Security, children and changes

We use access controls, private storage, encrypted connections and other safeguards appropriate to the service. No internet service can promise absolute security. Fadmus is intended only for people aged 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through this service.

We may update this notice as the product changes. We will publish a new effective date and, where required, ask for consent again. The version tied to current website submissions is privacy-2026-09-01.
